Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SkoolAid AI and the SkoolAid Chrome extension collect, use, store, and share information. SkoolAid is an independent tool and is not owned by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Skool.

Information We Process

SkoolAid may process information you provide or interact with while using the extension, including scheduled post drafts, generated reply drafts, welcome message settings, engagement game settings, community names, post/comment/DM text selected for reply assistance, video scripts, video recordings you create, affiliate URLs, and configuration settings.

Some data may be stored locally in your browser using Chrome storage or IndexedDB so the extension can remember your preferences, drafts, schedules, backups, and settings.

Chrome Extension Data

The extension may use Chrome permissions such as storage, active tab access, cookies, identity, notifications, alarms, clipboard write, and host access to Skool, Google/YouTube, Pinterest, OpenAI, Giphy, link-shortening services, and SkoolAid-related backend endpoints. These permissions are used to provide extension features such as scheduling, composing, recording, uploading, generating drafts, connecting third-party accounts, and saving user preferences.

AI and Generated Content

If you use AI reply, post, script, or content generation features, the relevant prompt, selected Skool content, tone, and user-provided instructions may be sent to an AI provider to generate a response. You are responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated content before posting or sending it.

Video, Voice, and Media

When you create video or voice content, media may be processed locally in your browser and, when necessary, sent to SkoolAid or third-party conversion/rendering services to generate WebM or MP4 output. If you connect YouTube or Pinterest, media and metadata you approve may be sent to those services for upload.

Third-Party Integrations

SkoolAid may interact with third-party services such as Skool, OpenAI, Google/YouTube, Pinterest, Giphy, link-shortening services, and media conversion services. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

Backups and Support Diagnostics

SkoolAid may allow you to export backups for migration and redacted diagnostic files for support. Backups may include local extension data. Support diagnostics are intended to redact sensitive values such as API keys, tokens, passwords, emails, affiliate links, webhook URLs, and similar private data, but you should review any file before sharing it.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve SkoolAid features, remember settings, create scheduled content, generate drafts, help with support, connect third-party integrations, upload user-approved media, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers and integrations only as needed to provide features you use, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, or complete actions you request.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and you should avoid entering secrets or sensitive data into content fields unless needed for the feature you are using.

Your Choices

You can remove the extension, clear local extension data, disconnect third-party integrations, delete generated files, and choose not to share diagnostic exports. Browser and platform settings may provide additional controls.

Children

SkoolAid is not intended for children under 13. Do not use SkoolAid if you are not old enough to use online services in your location.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
